My Life as Metaphor

We have a new addition to our family.  My sister's youngest son became engaged to his girlfriend, Rebecca over Thanksgiving.  They are planning a fall 2008 wedding.  I have NO idea why I didn't take a snap of the happy couple.  Instead, I have a photo of THE RING.  It's beautiful and she is, too. 

I actually do take pictures of people.  Here's a snap of our youngest member of the family.  Aidan Cooper, or Baby 'Zilla' as I like to call him.  He's already found out how good food is and usually has just this look on his face when he's at the table.  

      Here's a photo of my niece, Jordyn, at her high school talent show this month.  (She's on the left.)  I think the word beautiful is used too liberally.  Everyone thinks their loved ones are beautiful.  I'm no exception.  :)  Most of the songs were about love and teen angst.  Still, I was proud of our girl.
